Digital Affiliate Membership
Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your Digital Membership of Made in Wales (“Digital Membership”), operated by The Made in Group Ltd. Digital Membership provides access only to:
(a) approved Made in Wales branding assets for use in accordance with our brand guidelines; and
(b) an online microsite hosted by Made in Wales.

All other membership benefits (for example physical events, in-person networking, or regional privileges) are not included unless expressly stated.

By completing the member confirmation form you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by the Made in Wales Code of Conduct set out below.

2. Onboarding & Payment

After you sign the membership agreement we will send a payment link and an onboarding wizard to set up your Digital Membership.

Membership fees are payable in full on activation. Fees are payable to The Made in Group Ltd.

New members are guaranteed not to have membership fees increased in their first three (3) years of joining.

3. Term, Renewal & Cancellation

Membership runs for 12 months from the activation date.

Membership is automatically renewed each year unless you give written notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to your renewal date.

To cancel, email [email protected] or follow the cancellation steps in your onboarding materials. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 12-month period; fees already paid are not automatically refundable (see Section 6).

4. Digital Membership Benefits & Use of Branding

Licence. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Made in Wales branding assets and your hosted microsite solely for the purposes permitted under your Digital Membership and strictly in accordance with our brand guidelines.

Restrictions. You must not:
(a) alter or misuse logos or branding assets;
(b) sublicense or transfer the licence; or
(c) use the branding or microsite in any way that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading or likely to harm the reputation of Made in Wales.

Content. You are responsible for all content you provide for your microsite. Content must comply with the Code of Conduct and all applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove or require changes to any content that breaches these Terms, the Code of Conduct or our policies.

5. Code of Conduct (applicable to Digital Members)

All Digital Members must comply with the Made in Wales Code of Conduct. Key obligations include that you will:

Act professionally, with integrity and respect in all communications and when representing your membership.
Not claim authority to speak on behalf of Made in Wales unless specifically authorised.
Avoid discriminatory or harmful statements.
Respect confidentiality and privacy requirements.
Refrain from anti-competitive behaviour.
Not harass, threaten or abuse others.
Keep communications with Made in Wales staff professional.
Not issue malicious or defamatory statements about Made in Wales or its members.
Comply with UK law and applicable policies.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination (see Section 6).

6. Suspension, Termination & Refunds

If you breach these Terms or the Code of Conduct, we may warn, suspend or terminate membership without refund. Mid-term refunds are discretionary only.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for compliance with data protection law for any content you upload. Queries: [email protected].

8. Intellectual Property

All Made in Wales branding and IP remain the property of The Made in Group Ltd (or licensors). Licences may be revoked for breach.

9. Liability & Indemnity

Liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months. You indemnify The Made in Group Ltd against claims arising from breach or misuse.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.
